On Language

I realize it's been nearly a month since I last posted, but between illness, out-of-town friends and the start of school (all of which I'll blog about later), I haven't had a moment to collect my thoughts. To tide you over until my next thought-provoking post, here are a few platitudes I've been musing over recently. I'll add more as they occur to me.
